After my father-in-law's funeral Wednesday, the limo driver pointed out that he is buried less than 50 feet from J.D. Tippit. I walked over and looked at the officer's grave marker.
Everyone in Texas probably recalls who Officer Tippit was, but in case you don't, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._D._Tippit
It's rather strange to see a grave with that same date...
