ELO! Wow, I LOVED "Calling America" back when it first came out (ELO's last top 40 hit) and was more than a little bugged that they omitted it from the Afterglow boxed set (yet they included "So Serious" which didn't chart. What's up with that?).

I always kinda liked ELO, but I actually never had a favorite song - until "Calling America". Then they disbanded. Figgers.
ReplyDeleteDid you notice we've both posted YouTube videos about telephones - but mine had the Pompidou Center and a bunch of Brits, while you had monsters and Sheena Easton.
Wonder what that all means...
